Female members are still underrepresented when it comes to active Association participation in elected positions and it remains the aim of the Pat Hunter Memorial Program to achieve further improvements in this area.
The ten day program, run and funded by The Police Association, gives female members the opportunity to see how the Association operates on a day-to-day basis.
Participants in the program will work closely with the Association’s industrial relations, legal and communications staff on a range of different issues affecting the day-to-day lives of their fellow Association members, helping them gain valuable insights into how important policing issues are dealt with and resolved.
The March 2016 program will run from Monday, 29 February 2016 to Friday, 11 March 2016 inclusive.
