The Association renegotiates with Simply Energy (12/13)

Following a review, we are happy to announce that we have recently re-negotiated energy discounts with Simply Energy for our members.

For the past six months, members have been able to enjoy discounted energy rates with Simply Energy through the Association’s group purchasing deal.

Following a review, we are happy to announce that we have recently re-negotiated energy discounts with Simply Energy for our members.

Members can now choose from three separate offers based on certain criteria:

  • PREMIUM - 28% (Elec) & 15% (Gas) - Pay on time, direct debit and e-billing required
  • EXTRA - 25% (Elec) & 15% (Gas) - Pay on time and e-billing required
  • BASIC - 23% (Elec) & 15% (Gas) - Pay on time required

Certain conditions do apply to the offers, including a minimum requirement that bills be paid on time as well as a commitment to a two-year fixed-term contract. Depending on what offer you decide to go for, you may also be required to pay via direct debit and receive bills via e-billing.

While these discounts may offer substantial savings, members are advised to look closely at the discounts and rates on offer from Simply Energy as variables such as usage patterns and where you live can impact upon your energy bill.
